Hong Kong Trip

Hong Kong Trip - 10 July till 16 July 2008 - 7 Days

Day 1: 10 July 2008 - Singapore - Macua

Our Flight 9:25am and Reach Macua at 1pm
Own transfer to Hotel, so we took cab to Casa Real Hotel -- (4 Stars Hotel)
Our room will only be ready at 3pm, so we head off to our 1st destination "New Yaohan".

Actually nothing much at the shopping center. Stuff were all quite ex.

By then, it's already 3plus and we decided to have our lunch before going back to the hotel for check-in.
After our check-in, we took bus number 5 just across from our hotel and alight at Senado Square..
The 1st church we went to is "St. Dominic's Church".
Follow by, a few min walk from Senado Square the most famous church "The Ruins of St. Paul's".
Behind the "The Ruins of St. Paul's", there's this small traditional chinese temple "Na Cha Temple".
I don't know how famous this temple is but is definitely one of the place to attract tourist.

After all the church, the shopping, we head off to "Macua Fisherman's Wharf".
We wasted about half an hours, cause we took the wrong bus! *Thanks to our dear Yonghan~
but lucky, Macua is not a big city, is like one end to another end only took us 20min..

We went "Miami" at "Fisherman's Wharf", mainly just because I wanted to seat at the car for dinner.. Lolxxx~!!
Food there not cheap you know. hAha.

After dinner, walked around "Fisherman's Wharf", take picture, etc...

Last station for the day! "Sand Casino"!

Day 2: 11 July 2008 - Macua - ZhuHai - Macua
Woke up at about 7am. Get prepare and went for our FREE breakfast provided by the hotel~ LolxXx
and finished our breakfast at 930am. Decided to take the free shuttle bus from our hotel to ZhuHai but the bus start at 1010-1015.
No choice, went back to our room for some more rest. Haha~

ZhuHai is just opposite Macua, only 10-15min of travel from our hotel. *Fast leh~
What we need to do is only pass the custom and there we are~!!! ZHUHAI!!! (VISA is required at this period because of Beijing Olympics)

We shop until 5pm and decided to go back Macua...
We don't want to shop till we miss our last bus back to our hotel.

Quite wasted as we only went there for about 6hr~ Seriously I perfer the stuff over there! Sibei cheap and nice. =)
All the auntie and uncle were tired~
They decided to catch some sleep before going to "The Venetian".
I love the celling at "The Venetian", they made it to look very alike like the sky~ =)

Packup and Ready for next day Hong Kong

Every stuff I bought there is all less then S$15, except for the Bag, Perfume, Adidas Jacket and the " Umban man". =)

Day 3: 12 July 2008 - Macua - Hong Kong

Had our 2nd round FREE breakfast before taking the Free shuttle bus to "Macua Ferry Terminal" to catch our 11am ship.
1hour of travel to reach Hong Kong. The most difficult part was when alighting the ship~
I feel like vomiting, and I have difficulty getting down from the ship. Haha..
I can't carry the luggage down from the ship, I have being moving here and there for about 2min before the person help me down from the ship.. *Haiz~ *Finally! *Pui~

Own transfer to Hotel. Took cab to YMCA hotel, located at "You Ma Tei". It cost us about S$20 each cab to reached.

Again our hotel room will only be ready at 130pm.
Decided to walk around "You Ma Tei" and had our lunch 1st..

After the check-in etc...
Head off to "Sai Yeung Choi Street" where the street sells alot of Electronic Goods.
"Ladies Street" as all should know what actually they are selling.
Cut accross "Soy Street" and walk toward to "Fa Yuen Street" the Sports Goods cum clothing.

All were tired arh, leg pain arh..
Stop at one of the makan places for our dinner~ =X

Continue our journey to "Prince Station" --> "Allied Plaza" where they selled alot of youngster clothing.
Bought nothing over there.

Our distination is actually to "Dragon Centre" but.....
They can't walk anymore le. They decided to go back to the hotel.
So Heng and Me brought them to the MTR station at Prince and they went back 1st.

As for us, we walk back instead of taking MTR. =)
Haha~ Lucky we walked back...
Saw performace at "Mongkok" and also bought "Perfume, Bag, Nail Polish and E-SPRIT clothing" =)

Back YMCA at about 11pm.

Day 4: 13 July 2008 - Hong Kong - ShenZhen

Half day Hong Kong city tour~!!!
As you know follow the tour always need to wake up early~!!!
and we have to be ready at the lobby at 720am. *Yawn!
We are the 2nd to pick up and there's 2 more to place to pick up.. Haiz~

We are to pay HK130 for our breakfast and lunch.
Breakfast at "Fu Lum Restaurant" for our "Diam Xin" *Yum Yum!!

Then they bought us to "Repulse Bay", where alot of the Hong Kong actor stay there.
Only rich people stay "Repulse Bay". Hmm..

Follow by "Aberdeen Fishing Village" to see some of the famous actor park their ship there.
One of it, everyone should know "Leon" Ship is there also. lolxXx

Tour always bring tourist to buy Jewllery la, Yao Cai Dian! Yes! There we are!
Lunch at "China Star Seafood Restaurant".

After lunch supposed to take cable car to "Lantau Island/Ngong Ping 360 Sky Rail Ride" to pray but the ladies want to go "ShenZhen" early for shopping.
So we fogo the cable car. Cable car cost HK88 leh.. No money refund de, so...

Reach "ShenZhen" at about 530, check-in at "Lido Hotel" and dinner at one of the opposite "so-called" restaurant.. (Meal included)

Last stop for the day ---> "Dong Men"

Day 5: 14 July 2008 - ShenZhen

Had our breakfast at our Hotel.
Tour!!!
As I said earlier~ Tour will never left out bringing tourist to places to buy "Yu" & "Tu Chuan"...

Then to "Splendid China" --> Xiao Ren Guo and "China Folk Culture Village + Show".
I love the way Heng dress like "Huang Sheng" and I dress like "Huang Hou"~ Hee~
Ren Ming Bi 40 for 2 person. Haha

Went to catch the horse show before going for the culture show. I like the Culture Show, their stage is really best!
We skipped the 2nd culture show as some want to go for SHOPPING~ =X (Huh~! AGAIN)!

Head off to "LoWu" for shopping after our dinner at Splendid China...

After shopping, went back bath and we 3 (Heng, my bro and me) went down to our Hotel restaurant for SUPPER!!!
Is really cheap you know!
One set Ren Ming Bi 58, Meal included --> Soup, Bread, Salad, Main Course, Tea and Ice-Cream~ Whooo...

Day 6: 15 July 2008 - ShenZhen - Hong Kong

Reach Hong Kong at around 11~ Same problem again!
We can only check in at 3pm and 5pm...

Head off to "Harbour City" --> 1 Hour of Shopping over there (We know we can't really affort stuff over there, LolxXx)
Opposite there's "Hard Rock Cafe"

Follow by "Granville Road" for Children clothing... and then "Temple Street" BUT!!!
We reach "Temple Street" too early le, they decided to go back hotel for some sleep~!

LolxXx.. I also fall asleep while waiting for them. =X

Went "Temple Street" at around 6plus 7pm and completed walking the street at around 8plus.
I though "Lai Chi Kok" is suppose to go at night but when we reached, something not right..
No shop is open, shopping centre closing too.
So asked a lady over there and she told us the shop here close at 6pm. HUH!!! We are late!

No choice! Took MTR back to our station and had our dinner just opposite our hotel.. *Porridge!
There's this guy came and asked if we are from Singapore. LolxXx.. Cause he is also from Singapore.
He told us that this porridge is famous de.~
Taste not bad, the porridge quite smooth. @@

After dinner, the older want went back hotel and the younger want went for late night shopping. LolxXx..

Day 7: 16 July 2008 - Hong Kong - Singapore

Woke up at 8plus... Check-out at around 930am and went off for breakfast near our Hotel.

Took MTR to "Tsim Sha Tusi"
Head off to "Sogo" --> "Xin Guan Da Dao" --> "New World Centre" .

Hmm~ Can see my auntie are getting bored, nothing for her to buy there..
So bought them back to "Mongkok" for last minutes shopping. =)
4pm we have to be back to our hotel, as they will send us to the Airport.
They have to pick the other as well, so we took 1hr30min to reach Airport, by then it's already 610pm...

Before going back, Yonghan and Me rush to look for "Gui Ling Gou" but we forgot our "She Lu Shan", we did passby that shop leh!!! Sobsob* Everyone is telling me, is a MUST to eat that leh.. I'm so sad leh!!!

Anyway the "Gui Ling Gou" taste really best! Of cause la, you know how much each cost mah? HK50 leh, damn ex lor, it around S$10..

2 Year le...
Wanted to eat at Lotus Grill very long le, so decided to eat at our Anniversary =)
Before meeting dear at Central, went ChinaTown with my mum to book air-ticket to HongKong.

This day, I received Gucci Wallet from my dear. Hug*

That's all, the rest of the day I can't remember le.. I got STM! Haiz..
